COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

120 KM | 3,000M+ ELEVATION

The Full Crown is a challenging 120-kilometer ride with a 12-hour time limit and an elevation gain of 3,000 meters. The route involves steep ascents, challenging loose downhill sections, and no shortage of wayfinding through rolling grasslands. Riders can expect a grueling experience along some of Merritt's finest trails, encountering punishing terrains throughout the course.

60 KM | 1,500M+ ELEVATION

The course is being remapped and will be changing slightly, A little more forgiving than the Full Crown. 1,500 m of elevation over 60 km of riding. If you want to cut the climbs in half but still want your fair share of the sufferfest, this one's for you.

RELAY 2P/4P

30-40 KM & ~750 M ELEVATION (PER RIDER)

The course is being remapped and will be changing slightly, but if you’re looking to get a good pedal in and a good time with pals, this is the one for you! The relay is underrated, it’s a damn good time. The best of both worlds, where you get to race hard and apres even harder.

“TERRIBLE, BUT I LOVED IT.”

A great mix of terrain that was technically challenging enough to keep it interesting and had enough climbs to make it hard.
— Owen, 2023 Half-Crown Rider
Had a great day smashing pedals on the half-crown!!
— Carl, 2023 Crown Rider
The camping experience at this race is so cool! I love how easy it is, and that it encourages mingling before and after the race. It’s a huge part of the race’s character and I love it.
— Evan, 2023 Crown Rider
